Most Popular Questions

What is included in a mastering session at Unidyne Studio?

Each mastering project includes final delivery files ready for release and distribution:

  • Mastered WAV
  • Mastered MP3

If required, we can also discuss versioning needs (for example, alternate edits) before final delivery.

How should I prepare my track for mastering?

For best mastering results, submit:

  • WAV files (preferred: 48 kHz / 24-bit)
  • Mixes without a final limiter on the stereo bus
  • Final peak level below -3 dBFS for clean headroom

Other formats can be accepted, but WAV is strongly recommended for optimal quality.

How long does mastering take?

Typical turnaround depends on the number of tracks:

  • 1 track: 3 days
  • 2 tracks: 4 days
  • 3 tracks: 5 days
  • Additional tracks follow the same progression

If you are working to a release deadline, let us know and we will confirm scheduling availability.

What mastering software and equipment do you use?
