Mixing That Brings Your Music to Life

Mixing is where your music truly comes together. At Unidyne Studio, our engineers shape every element of your track to achieve balance, depth, and clarity. From vocals to instruments, we refine the sound so each part sits perfectly in the mix. The result is a polished track that connects with listeners and stands out on any platform.

What Is Mixing?

Mixing is the intricate process of combining and balancing various musical elements into a single, unified audio track. During the mixing process, our sound engineers meticulously manipulate the frequency response, dynamics, timbre, placement, reverb, and soundstage of each individual element to optimise its sonic contribution to the overall composition. These enhanced elements are then carefully layered together to create the final product.

Most Popular Questions

How do I prepare my tracks for professional mixing?

For the best result, send consolidated audio stems as WAV files (preferred: 48 kHz / 24-bit).
Please include:

  • All files in one ZIP folder
  • Clear, consistent track names (for example: Lead Vox, BGV L, Snare Top)
  • A brief project note (tempo, key, creative direction, reference songs)

You can also send a Pro Tools session if preferred.

What genres do you mix at Unidyne Studio?

We regularly mix Pop, Rock, Metal, Hip Hop, and EDM.
Our process is genre-aware, so balance, dynamics, and tonal character are shaped to suit the style and release goal of each track.

What file formats do you accept for mixing?

We primarily accept WAV files for mixing to maintain maximum audio quality and headroom.
If you have a different format, contact us and we can advise the best export method before submission.

What mixing software and studio equipment do you use?

We mix using Pro Tools with a high-end hybrid workflow that combines digital precision and professional analogue hardware.
For a full list of microphones, preamps, outboard gear, monitoring, and studio hardware, see our equipment page.

How many revisions are included in mixing?

Included revisions depend on project type:

  • Vocal + instrumental/backing track mix: up to 2 revisions
  • Full multitrack mix projects: up to 5 revisions

This revision structure helps keep the process efficient while ensuring your final mix meets creative expectations.

What files do I receive after mixing?

You will receive your final mix in:

  • WAV (high-quality master mix file)
  • MP3 (convenient sharing/reference format)

A backing/instrumental version can also be provided on request.
